Designer Radiators innovative manufacturing process
The transformation of marble powder into slabs with heat retention capabilities and aesthetic qualities resembling marble is a testament to Maarmo’s innovative manufacturing process. The use of bakery-style mixing machines and handcrafted molds to achieve such precision is truly fascinating. It results in a product that closely mimics the look and feel of real fabric or oak panels, offering a unique blend of artistry and functionality, a sustainable radiant heating technology used with renewable energy,
“The starting point is marble powder which, through a secret recipe, is transformed into slabs with excellent heat retention capabilities and with the same aesthetic characteristics as marble”. The manufacturing process is fascinating: once mixed with water, the powder ends up in a mixing machine (exactly the kind intended for bakeries) until a cream is obtained which is then poured into silicone moulds. The bespoke moulds, made by hand, give the slabs the desired texture with such precision as to make the final product almost indistinguishable from a real fabric or oak panel.
The maturing process for Maarmo’s slabs, followed by the addition of electrical resistance or copper coils for heating, showcases the meticulous attention to detail in their radiator production. The final touch of hand-painting with special water-based paints in their small atelier allows for unique and customisable bespoke pieces, highlighting their dedication to craftsmanship and artistic individuality. It’s a fascinating blend of technology and craftsmanship.
For the final processing phase, the panels end up in the small atelier inside the factory where they are painted with water-based paints and finished with a brush. Each piece is unique and lends itself to being personalized without limiting creativity. Designer Radiators | Customers Photos Gallery.

It’s impressive to see Maarmo’s expansion into the furniture sector and the recognition they’ve garnered from professionals and architecture firms for their original products with a rich history. The partnership with Swarovski for luxury lines adds an extra layer of sophistication to their brand. The “Veneziaa” designer line, paying homage to Venice and using historical artifacts, exemplifies their commitment to creating unique and culturally rich pieces. It’s a fascinating blend of art, design, and history. While the “Veneziaa” line is a real homage to the lagoon city, created using an original “fero da prora” signed by the artist who created it two centuries ago: a more unique than rare piece provided exceptionally by the Venetian association Arzanà (which houses historic Venetian boats) and handled under the supervision of an expert from Venice superintendence.
